About the Role
Ottimale Galleries is looking for a reliable, energetic, and customer-oriented Shopkeeper/Shop Assistant to join our team immediately. In this role, you will manage daily floor operations, handle transactions, and keep our store running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Customer Service: Greet customers, assist with inquiries, and actively cross-sell products to boost sales.
- Cash Handling & Register Operations: Process cash, card, and digital transactions accurately while maintaining exact register balances.
- Basic Bookkeeping: Record daily sales total, reconcile register floats, and log minor shop expenses.
- Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and arrange stock; perform regular inventory counts and notify management of low stock levels.
- Store Maintenance: Complete required daily cleaning duties to ensure a spotless and presentable shopping environment.
Requirements
- Must be Indonesian citizen (WNI).
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Proven experience in cash handling and customer service.
- Experience in retail or shop keeping preferred but not a must.
- Able to lift and move boxes and stocks (25kg or more preferred).
- Strong cross-selling skills, attention to detail, and proactive attitude towards cleanliness and store maintenance.
