Our school invites applications for the position of Assistant Teacher (Primary School).
We are looking for a caring, creative, and committed individual who is passionate about
working with children and aligned with Waldorf values and holistic education.
Role Overview
The Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in creating a nurturing, rhythm-based
learning environment that honors each child’s developmental stage.
Key Responsibilities
● Support classroom activities under the guidance of the Lead Teacher
● Help maintain a calm, nurturing, respectful, and well-prepared learning space
● Observe and support children’s academic, social, and emotional development
● Support classroom routines, transitions, and daily rhythms
● Prepare learning materials and support classroom organization
● Work collaboratively with teachers and staff
What We’re Looking For
● Strong interest in Waldorf education and child development
● Ability to work collaboratively and take guidance from Lead Teachers
● Willingness to learn, reflect, and grow within Waldorf pedagogy
● Relevant education or training background is preferred
● Ability to operate basic office applications and Canva
● Patient, warm, and responsible attitude
● Experience working with children is an advantage
● Fluency in English is essential
